d. How to milk a cow by machine, what is the process?

The milking process involving the use of a machine consists of a few steps. They are as follows:

  1. The cattle to be milked is first selected, and then brought together.
  1. They are then taken into the milk parlour where they undergo a proper inspection. It is also during this stage that the teats (nipples) of the cattle is checked.
  1. Milk equipment is then attached to the ‘udder’ of the cattle.
  1. The milk is then extracted and transferred through tubes via vacuum into a stainless steel bulk tank.
  1. The milk equipment is automatically removed from the teat of the cattle.
  1. The cattle is then brought back to the barn.
